Seems like Yahoo left the website building and web hosting solutions game. It is now on its third owner following the Yahoo sale.

The global media and tech company Yahoo have exited the website builder and web hosting game for good. After the sale of its Small Business Essentials portfolio to app management company Infinite Computer Solutions.

The program Verizon Small Business Essentials after Yahoo’s parent company was designed to assist small businesses. It established an online presence for small businesses by providing website builder and web hosting facilities from a single dashboard.

The details of this deal are unknown however, it will be the third owner of the software solution suite.

Yahoo’s New Owner

Infinite Computer Solutions claims it is turning its attention to the growth of SMB websites because of the purchase and other investments.

The company believes, it takes a lot to transform a concept into a business and then expand to establish an enterprise. Therefore, it intends to use its global popularity to bring additional investment into the new technology stockpile.

Infinite Computer Solutions is growing its business as part of this strategic purchase as it will open new doors for them. The company’s expertise will help clients grow their businesses quickly.

Infinite Computer Solutions further anticipates that the purchase will improve the “DNA of Platformization”. This will also improve its position in the business operations industry.

Infinite’s Business Essentials portfolio will offer consumers to establish, manage, and grow their businesses online.

The portfolio bought includes e-commerce, web hosting, domain registrar, website builder solutions, marketing campaigns, and other services. These skills will strengthen the company’s digital platform capability. It will provide them with a competitive advantage in digital business operations and consulting services.

The deal was completed on June 10, 2022. The existing Verizon Small Business Essentials users will not be required to change their login credentials. However, those who use web hosting email forms on custom-coded pages or legacy design tools like SiteBuilder must change the URL.
