Finally, Microsoft Teams has now better control over the camera. 

Microsoft is solving one of the most irritating aspects of video conferences for Teams users. 

The software giant has revealed that it is working on a new version that will make it easier for customers to turn on or off their cameras during the call. 

Teams users have long suffered from an overly complicated process to turn their cameras on or off. Microsoft 365 parent company claims it is finally resolved which seems to be apparent.

Rather than stumbling around with your mouse or keyboard to bring up the Meeting Stage and then push the Video icon. Now a single click of a button will allow the user to rapidly adjust their video status.  

Microsoft claims that the modification will be available for any approved Teams Peripherals. This means that thousands of enterprises around the world would be able to use it. It implies that when the new function when rolled out will only be available to desktop users for now. 

This feature is still in the development phase. Though Microsoft anticipates a wide release date of July 2022, so hang on tight it might appear within the next few days. 

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Microsoft is making adjustments to its prized platform. This update is the latest enhancement to Microsoft Teams. As the organization strives to make its platform as conducive and accommodating as possible for users worldwide. 

Similarly, to boost video call audio quality in Teams Microsoft employed AI and machine learning models. These enhancements include echo cancellation, better adapting audio in adverse acoustic conditions, and allowing users to talk and hear at the same time without pauses.  

The improvements also aim to reduce disruptions and individuals speaking over each other during calls. Teams calls will no longer have an unpleasant echo when one person talks over another, allowing conversations to flow much more effortlessly.
